18 Montreal companies were named among the best workplaces for women

Great Place to Work, a global institute that researches and analyzes workplace culture, just dropped two new lists of the best workplaces in Canada: Best Workplaces for Women 2024, and Best Workplaces Managed by Women 2024.

Both lists include several Montreal companies.

According to the Great Place to Work website, in order to make the best workplaces for women list, organizations need to "provide an outstanding and inclusive workplace environment for women." This is measured using a survey of at least 50 female employees in which 90% of all respondents agree that people at their company are treated fairly regardless of gender.

To be deemed one of the Best Workplaces Managed by Women, organizations must have a female president or CEO. Great Place to Work then selects the best of its roster using the the average Trust Index scores from surveys of eligible organizations.
