Great Scott! A DeLorean straight out of the 80s classic 'Back to the Future' was spotted on the streets of Old Montreal on Friday.

The car that defined everything about the 80s is in town for the Pointe-à-Callière Museum's 'A Railroad to Dreams' exhibit, which is slated to open on November 18, 2020.

The exhibit will feature "hundreds of model trains and railway objects, such as models of special trains as well as tools, costumes and many unusual items."

We are happy to welcome a DeLorean car at the Museum, a special guest for our next exhibition.

The DeLorean is just one of the "mythical" vehicles that will be on display, too. Visitors will also find Platform 9¾ from Harry Potter.

While it would certainly be nice to live in a future with flying cars and actual hoverboards, we'll have to settle for checking out this fictional time-machine that just screams nostalgia.

If you don't know what Back to the Future is, make like a tree and get outta here.

For those of you that do know the movie, though, take some time out of your busy schedule to educate someone that doesn't know about this classic film.

And hopefully, by the time you're done watching all three movies in the franchise, everything will be relatively back to normal and you'll be able to check out the DeLorean at the exhibit!

The exhibit hopes to open on November 18. The opening hours and rates are available online.

Before you get going, check our Responsible Travel Guide so you can be informed, be safe, be smart, and most of all, be respectful on your trip.
