Montreal police are currently investigating a stabbing in Côte-des-Neiges that took place on Sunday, September 12 around 3 p.m. on rue Goyer.

The stabbing left three people injured, a 17-year-old girl, a 39-year-old woman, and a 44-year-old man. All three victims were transported to the hospital.

SPVM spokesperson Véronique Comtois confirmed with MTL Blog that "they are all out of danger" but did not mention the extent of their injuries.

The suspect was arrested but also brought to the hospital because he "had injuries that could have been caused by a blunt object," Comtois explained but continued to say he, too, is "out of danger."

As of right now, police are describing it as "an altercation that went [wrong]" and they know that it occurred in a conjugal context.

Comtois could not yet confirm the link between the three victims, but she said, "we know that there is a domestic context between at least two of the people that were implicated"

The investigation of this case remains ongoing.
