Fully Vaccinated Quebecers Can Ditch Their Masks At Gatherings Very Soon

All of Quebec is going green next week!

In a press conference on June 22, Quebec Premier François Legault confirmed that, as of July 2, fully vaccinated Quebecers won't have to wear masks at gatherings.

"The situation continues to improve in Quebec. We're now at 80% of people over 12 with a first dose of vaccine," Legault said.

"As planned, I am announcing that from next Friday, those who received their two doses will be allowed to gather without a mask," Legault said.

The premier also announced that all Quebec regions would be designated COVID-19 green zones as of June 28, and private outdoor gatherings would be permitted for up to 20 people. 

On June 22, the province reported just 84 new cases of COVID-19, with 84,121 vaccine doses administered in the last 24 hours.
