Hydro-Québec has put out a message on Twitter warning Quebecers of possible power outages in "several regions" due to high wind speeds forecast on Monday. 

As of 11:30 a.m., 24,902 were without electricity, though it's unclear how many of those are thanks to the wind.

MétéoMédia's Monday morning forecast stated that gusts could reach between 60 and 80 km/h across the province.

Environment Canada has issued a series of wind and storm surge warnings for the tip of Gaspésie, the Îles-de-la-Madeleine and part of the Côte-Nord.
