These 6 Montreal Areas Have Seen No New COVID-19 Cases For The Past Two Weeks

One of them used to be a major hot spot.

Six Montreal areas have reported no new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days, while several more reported under five new cases for the past week.

As of July 19, these six areas reported no new COVID-19 cases over the past 14 days:

  • Baie D'Urfé
  • Côte-Saint-Luc
  • Hampstead
  • Montreal-Ouest
  • Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
  • Senneville

At various points in the pandemic, Côte-Saint-Luc was considered a COVID-19 hot spot with the highest per capita case count in the city.

Thirteen areas in Montreal have reported under five COVID-19 cases over the last week:

  • Anjou
  • Beaconsfield
  • Dollard-des-Ormeaux
  • Dorval
  • Kirkland
  • Lachine
  • L'Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève
  • Montréal-Est
  • Town of Mount Royal
  • Outremont
  • Pierrefonds–Roxboro
  • Pointe-Claire
  • Westmount

Santé Montreal reported a total of just 203 new COVID-19 cases in the Montreal area over the last seven days.

Montrealers aged 20 to 29 continue to make up the largest proportion of new COVID-19 cases in the city, accounting for 86 of 203 new cases over the last seven days, or 42%.
