Starting on Monday, March 22, all eligible citizens can register to get their first COVID-19 vaccine dose at certain Montreal pharmacies.

Health Minister Christian Dubé announced the plan to allow pharmacies to administer vaccine doses in the first week of March, with an aim to "intensify" the vaccination campaign and to give people more options when registering to get their first dose.

350 pharmacies in Montreal will be participating in the vaccination effort, including certain Jean Coutu locations.

Dubé also announced on Friday that local businesses can register to become "vaccination hubs" for their employees, their employee's families, and the general public.

At the time of writing, only Montrealers aged 60 and over can register to get their first dose. To verify which age group is being vaccinated in your region, refer to Clic Santé.
