For those who have been on the hunt for a job in Montreal, there's a free career fair coming to the Montreal airport this April.
The YUL Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is hosting a free job fair where you can browse and apply for tons of open jobs in Montreal.
"The YUL community is searching for a wide variety of talent to work in a unique and vibrant environment," according to the Montreal airport.
The job fair is open to everyone and most available jobs don’t require a degree. So, whether you’re a student looking for part-time work, want to earn extra cash, or have been out of the workforce for a while, there may be a good-suited role.
The free job fair at the Montreal airport will take place on April 11 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and April 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The career fair will be set up at door 10 of the airport on the mezzanine level.
A few companies hiring on-site include Air Inuit, Aer Rianta International, Avjet, Balnea Spa Voyage, Emirates, Gategroup, Hatley, and more. It’s best to bring physical copies of your CV to the event, as well as any supporting documents like a portfolio.
For those driving to the event, parking is available at the airport for free — all you have to do is validate your ticket at the job fair desk. If you aren’t driving, you can access the airport via downtown Montreal with the 747 STM bus.
The airport is also offering a shot at winning a vacation priced at $2,500 — so you just might walk out with a job and a sweet trip.
Good luck, Montreal.
