You Can Paddleboard Into The Sunset At This Water Maze Only 2 Hours From MTL

For an adventure on a beautiful summer weekend, you can discover the unique Éco-Odyssée water labyrinth in the town of Wakefield, which is only two hours from Montreal.

There, you'll be able to navigate the six kilometres of marshes that separate into 64 intersections, by canoe, pedal boat and paddleboard.

Open on weekends with online reservations, you can try "La Balade" which is, of the two options available as of May 25, the one you can do by paddleboard. With the help of a map and markers, you'll be able to make your way through the labyrinth for about two hours in an absolutely beautiful setting.

It's perfect for those who have never visited the place since it's open to everyone and the level is qualified as easy. That said, it's recommended to have at least a little paddleboarding experience before you hit the maze.

In mid-June, two other options will be available to you to enjoy the scenery at sunset and under the moonlight: "Le Crépuscule" and "Le Crépointe".
