Montreal's first-ever Japan Week is underway from June 7 to 13, though the city's celebration of all things Japanese will be quite different this year because of COVID-19.

It was there, at a Cirque du Soleil show, that he came up with the concept for his new Montreal restaurant, Okeya Kyujiro, which opened downtown for take-out on Friday, January 8, 2021.
