3 People Are Facing Kidnapping Charges After The Montreal Amber Alert

Early in the morning on Tuesday, July 27, an Amber Alert in Montreal had everyone in the city's phone buzzing. The SPVM informed the public on Twitter that a 16-year-old girl had been "abducted."

Soon after, the SPVM marked the young girl as "safe and sound." On Wednesday morning, three individuals were brought to the Montreal courthouse as suspects in this case.

Audrey Roy-Cloutier, spokesperson for the Directeur aux poursuites criminelles et pénales (DPCP), told MTL Blog that the three individuals received the following charges for their alleged acts.

No further information is available as of the time of writing.
