Montreal's Royalmount is gearing up for a summer debut, featuring a wide range of high-end stores, restaurants, and outdoor spaces. The mega-mall will host 170 shops, 60 dining spots, and plenty of interactive attractions for everyone to enjoy.

Spearheaded by real estate development and management company Carbonleo, the Royalmount shopping mall in Montreal has an overall budget of $7 billion, making it clear that Royalmount will be home to some of the best-in-class brands, experiences and offers to the Quebec market.

The first phase will consist of an 824,000-square-foot two-level retail and lifestyle complex, as well as a three-kilometre linear park called Le Champ Libre, which will be surrounded by an outdoor public piazza.

Set to open its doors this August, Royalmount will also welcome luxury brands that you can't get just anywhere in Quebec.

As for which stores you can expect, brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Tiffany & Co, have all been confirmed.

Louis Vuitton will get its debut standalone boutique in Quebec, with a spacious 9,150 square foot flagship store situated at Royalmount. Gucci will also enter the provincial market with its first dedicated store — occupying an 8,700-square-foot space centrally located within the district.

The retail expansion will be complemented by Tiffany & Co.'s unveiling of its largest store in Montreal. Additionally, RH is poised to establish its flagship store in Montreal's Royalmount, spanning an impressive 46,500 square feet and marking its first-ever store in Quebec.

Shoppers can also expect a handful of more casual and affordable shops including Zara, Nike, Anine Bing, Mango, H&M, Alo Yoga, Veronica Beard, Sephora and Roche Bobois, to name a few.

Royalmount will also host esteemed brands like Sandro and Maje. Sandro's forthcoming 2,700 sq ft store will offer a diverse range of men's and women's apparel, while Maje will have its inaugural 1,500 sq ft boutique within the province.

"To be able to announce that some of the world's leading brands will be opening major flagship stores at Royalmount stands as a testament to the quality of the project and its ability to meet demand in the Quebec market for luxury experiences," said Andrew Lutfy, President and CEO of Cabronleo.

A handful of other luxe brands including Saint Laurent, Versace, Jimmy Choo and TAG Heuer will also open at Royalmount. David Yurman is set to unveil its largest Canadian store, too while TAG Heuer will pay homage to the city's racing history through its innovative design.

Meanwhile, Michael Kors will introduce a new standalone store featuring its acclaimed Michael Kors Collection.

A plethora of local brands will also grace the premises of the mega-mall in 2024. Among the prominent local names confirmed for the development are Acuité Visuelle, Aldo, Arc'teryx, Bikini Village, Browns, Dynamite, Garage, Influenceu, Judith & Charles, La Canadienne, La Vie en Rose, Mackage, Moose Knuckles, and Rudsak.

Luxury skincare brand Rennai will also have its own store, selling beauty products from brands such as Hermes and Dior, to name a few.

Highlighting this local lineup, Browns shoes will also be opening and will occupy a generous 5,000 sq. ft. space.

With so many luxury stores, it's clear that the Royalmount mega-mall will offer a similar shopping experience as Toronto's Yorkdale Mall. Actually, when you take into consideration the sea of luxe brands and the massive aquarium being built at the shopping centre, Royalmount looks more like the Dubai Mall than anything and we aren't mad about that one single bit.

Shoppers will be able to access Royalmount by car or through the newly built passage that connects you directly to Metro De La Savane. The sky bridge will stretch 200 metres above the Decarie Expressway.

Furthermore, the Royalmount will also become home to a European-style food hall for shoppers to enjoy an array of gourmet restaurants, cafés and other eateries across the mega-mall.

According to CBC, the Royalmout mega-mall will officially open its doors on August 15, 2024.
