Health Canada has published a recall warning regarding a USB charger and adapter sold through Temu Canada.

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that the USB charger sold on Temu.com poses an unreasonable risk of electric shock to Canadian consumers, the recall page warns.

Here are all the details for the recalled product:

What You Need To Know: The company has stated that a total of 3,349 units of the affected USB chargers were sold across Canada between May 2023 to December 2023.

As of February 5, 2024, there have been no reported incidents or injuries in Canada regarding the affected item, Health Canada indicated.

The federal health agency is currently ensuring that the recalled Temu items are being safely and properly removed from the Canadian marketplace.

What You Should Do: It's important to verify if you have any recalled products, Health Canada said. Furthermore, consumers should "immediately stop using the recalled product, dispose of the product by municipal electronic waste requirements and contact Temu for a refund."

For more information, consumers can contact Temu by visiting the company "Support Centre" website https://www.temu.com/support-center.html. Affected customers may also log in to their Temu account to identify detailed information about the recall by referring to the “Your Recalls and Product Safety Alerts” page.

Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.

Keep Reading: Additionally, Health Canada has recalled several products across Canada including Bissell vacuums, vacuum battery replacements, handheld massagers, IKEA charging ports and various Walmart baby items.

Canada recalls also include various food recalls such as the removal of salad kits across Canadian grocery stores from Costco Canada, Provigo and more, as well as the recall of other grocery items sold across Canada.
