The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has recalled several foods sold across Canada as the recalled products can pose serious health and safety risks to Canadian consumers.

The CFIA has removed the affected food products for reasons including microbial contamination (listeria), misleading allergen information, undeclared ingredients and extraneous materials.

It's important to verify if you have any of the recalled foods. If so, the CFIA recommends to not consume, sell, distribute or use the affected items. Furthermore, the agency is urging consumers to either toss out the recalled foods immediately or return it to the point of purchase.

Here are all the details regarding the recalled items:

Recall Reason: The affected products are being recalled from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination, per the CFIA.

What You Need To Do: If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, contact your healthcare provider, the CFIA said. If you do have the affected product, it's best to toss it out immediately or return it to the point of purchase.

While the CFIA has not received any reports of illness, the agency said that "food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness."
