14 Things To Do Around Montreal To Add To Your End-Of-Summer Bucket List
It won't be warm much longer!
Even though students have started heading back to school, it's still officially summer until September 22. That means the race is on to check items off your end-of-summer bucket list of things to do in Montreal before fall.
There are still warm and sunny days ahead of us! Why not make the most of them?!
Spend the day at a beach

If you want to turn your beach hang into a party, Pied-du-Courant's end-of-season event is on September 4 and 5. You can expect music, refreshments, DJs and dancing.

There are a number of places where you can do this in the city. Jardin Royalmount is showing In The Heights on September 5 or there's a free screening of Monsieur Lazhardowntown on September 2. If you're willing to drive, there's always Ciné-Parc.
Swim in your neighbour's pool (or... you know... another pool)
Price: Depends! If you use the Swimply app, prices average US$45 per hour.
Why You Need To Go: Don't let the fact that you don't have a pool stop you from swimming outside before the end of summer. You can rent a pool for a few hours using Swimply, go to a public pool or pay to access a private pool, like the one at Club LaCité.
Do a mural crawl
Why You Need To Go: This year's Mural Festival blessed our city with stunning new street art. It won't cost you a dime to see it — simply walk around and enjoy, creating your own mural crawl.
Check out an outdoor market
Why You Need To Go: Whether you want to sample Asian street eats at the night market under Chinatown's wish tree, or go back in time to an 18th-century public market at the Pointe-à-Callière Museum, there's something for everyone. Atwater and Jean-Talon never seem to get old, either.
Shop at a massive sidewalk sale

Take a $5 river shuttle to a secret bayou
Price: $5 per adult for a one-way trip; Daily access to the park is $9 per adult plus additional fees for equipment rentals

Why You Need To Go: Lay down a blanket and savour the summer flowers as you chow down on yummy take-out.
