Sharethrough, a tech powerhouse that connects advertisers and publishers, was specifically recognized for its growth — and, true to form, it's hiring for 22 roles based in the city.

More than a million packages a day are delivered across Canada during the holiday season and, to ensure your gifts arrive in time for Christmas, Canada Post needs to hire a heck of a lot of seasonal workers.

To meet this annual increase in demand, Canada Post is looking for an additional 4,200 seasonal employees across the country. This means plenty of job opportunities in Montreal and across Quebec that would allow you to earn $21.80 an hour for a contract that runs from November 15 to January 15.

If you need a job in Montreal and want to get involved in the upcoming federal election, Elections Canada is hiring poll workers in electoral districts across Quebec. Not only will you make more than minimum wage, but you can also get paid time and a half for working extra hours.

There are five possible positions you can apply for. All of them require you to be at least 16 years old on election day and a Canadian citizen. If you're an advance poll worker or an election day poll worker, you also can't take part in any partisan political activity until after the counting of the ballots on election night.
