A Quebec Man Won $1 Million Playing The Lottery & Found Out While Helping A Friend Move
Aweille, Kevin!

A Quebec resident holding a massive cheque for $1,000,000 at the Loto-Québec headquarters.
Good deeds certainly don't go unnoticed.
Kevin Fréchette from Estrie, Quebec won a million dollars playing the lottery and discovered the life-changing news while helping his friend move.
Fréchette purchased a Quebec Max ticket for the November 24, 2023, draw at the Dépanneur Comptoir BM in Granby. The newly minted millionaire found out his ticket had the winning numbers while helping a friend move.
“It’s a funny story. I was helping my friend, who’s with me here today, move,” Fréchette told Loto-Québec while in the winner's lounge. Fréchette was in his friend's basement at the time, realizing his numbers matched after looking them up on the Lotteries app.
The lottery winner quickly returned upstairs to inform his friends of his million-dollar win. According to Loto-Québec, Fréchette and his pals wasted no time going to the nearest convenience store to validate his winning ticket.
Fréchette, who is in his twenties, told Loto-Québec that he plans on buying a brand-new vehicle for himself. Additionally, the Quebec Max winner will also share the love with his group of friends, telling the crown corporation that he plans on taking them all on a microbrewery crawl.
Now, when Fréchette is asked where he was when he found out he was now a millionaire, he'll have one heck of a story to share.
Dépanneur Comptoir BM, located at 514 rue Denison O., will also receive a 1% commission of $10,000.
