Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) have recalled over 30 different dairy products this week and are currently adding yet another recalled cheese to the list. The CFIA is pulling the President's Choice brand Canadian Cheddar Cheese from the marketplace due to Listeria monocytogenes.

The class one recall was flagged on February 15, 2023, and was triggered by CFIA test results.

A Montreal Provigo announced "clean up on aisle one" and emerged months later with a boutique makeover and state-of-the-art food counters.

The grocery store on Nun's Island unveiled its new look on December 8, replete with a soup and sandwich station, a dining area, a 'raclette wall', tons of ready-to-eat meals and an expanded bakery serving fresh cannolis. Well, it's another day and another Health Canada recall. While Kinder chocolates and many shellfish brands have been recalled this year, Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are now recalling a handful of ice cream products due to the presence of plastic and metal pieces.

On April 20, 2022, Health Canada issued a nationwide recall and is urging Canadians who may have purchased the affected items to "not use, sell, serve, or distribute the affected products," many of which include popular choices from both Baskin Robbins and President's Choice.
